Queue up Villagers

Queue up as many Villagers as you can in your Town Center

2 Houses

Two Villagers build one, one Villager builds the other

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

When finished, send them to Sheep

Tip: Sheep scouting

In this build, you will only be eating 2 sheep before moving to hunt. Hence you can safely explore the inside of your base with the rest of them.

4-6
Sheep

Send your new Villagers to Sheep under your Town Center.

7
Lure Boar

Send your new Villager to lure a Boar. Your boar should arrive just when your second sheep finishes. (If you are already taking Deer, you can instead task the new Villager to collect Deer and take a Boar later.)

8
Lumber Camp

Send your new Villager to build a Lumber Camp. Do not build it too far from the location you later want to build your second Town Center. Also, try to find a spot for your Lumber Camp where many Villagers can efficiently chop wood at the same time.

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

When finished, send them to Wood

9
Wood

Send your new Villager to collect Wood at the Lumber Camp

10-14
  • Your Scout should be continuously pushing in Deer.

Deer/Boar

Send your new Villagers to hunt under the Town Center. Bring in your second Boar whenever you start running low on hunt (the timing depends on how fast you bring in your Deer).

12
  • Take 1 Villager from hunt to...

House

Send your Villager to build a house. Build it near the front of your base so that it can be part of a second layer of walls later on.

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

    Then return to hunt

15
Mill

Send your new Villager to build a Mill next to your Berries

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

When finished, send them to Berries

16-18
Berries

Send your new Villagers to Berries

19
Wood

Send your new Villager to collect Wood

Queue Feudal Age

Queue Feudal Age in your Town Center

  • Take 5 Villagers from hunt to...

Wood

Send your Villagers to collect Wood at your Lumber Camp. You should have 8 Lumberjacks: 4 on each side of the Lumber Camp. Keep an eye on them in case they block each others path.

  • Take 1 Villager from food to...

House

Send your Villager to build a house. Build it near the front of your base so that it can be part of a second layer of walls later on.

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

Then return to the food source you pulled the Villager from

  • When you run out of hunt, move your Hunters over to...

Sheep

Send your Villagers to Sheep

Tip: Scout fighting

You are almost certainly the first player to reach the Feudal Age. When you do, your Scout will receive extra attack and speed. When you are nearing the Feudal Age, try to track the opponents Scout movements so you can kill it once you get there.

  • When you are almost in the Feudal Age, take 4 Lumberjacks and 5 Shepherds...

Town Center spot

Send your Villagers to the spot where you want to build your second Town Center (next to wood and preferably gold or stone, too). They should start building immediately when you reach the Feudal Age.

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

When finished, send the Villagers to collect wood

  • subdirectory_arrow_right

Start queuing Villagers and send them to wood, too

Feudal Age

20+
Sheep

Send your new Villagers (from your first Town Center) to Sheep

Double-Bit Axe

Research as soon as you have enough wood to afford it

Horse Collar

Research as soon as you have enough wood to afford it (after Double-Bit Axe). Do not worry your Horse Collar research will be late. You should still have sheep left, so you do not need to build any Farms before Horse Collar.

Houses

Build Houses whenever needed and use them as a secondary layer of defense in case your opponent breaks through your primary walls later.

Farms

Build a Farm each time you have 60 wood and do not need to build a House. If you have less than 6 Shepherds, pull a Lumberjack to build the Farm. If you have 6 or more Shepherds, pull a Shepherd to build the Farm.

Straggler trees

Are you getting more than 6 Villagers on Sheep and you do not have enough wood for a Farm? Or are your Sheep running out soon? Send Shepherds to straggler trees and prioritize building Farms around your first Town Center.

Suggestions below

Is your opponent attacking you in the Feudal Age?

Delay the push as much as possible using your additional layer(s) of walls. Meanwhile, move some Villagers to stone so that you can build a couple of defensive towers when needed.

Is your opponent going Fast Castle into a 1 TC push?

This can be dangerous. Stop Villager production until you have clicked up to the Castle Age yourself. From here, you have multiple options. You can make whatever army you think counters your opponents. You can also go for a defensive Castle.

If your opponent Castle dropped you, you can follow up a defensive Castle with a fast Imp into Trebs

Is your opponent trying to outboom you?

Do not let them. Option 1: Go 3 Stable Knights. This works well on Hideout. On Arena, you need to combine this with Capped Rams or a Castle + Petards. Option 2: Delay Castle Age a bit, then build a Castle and go Fast Imp to be the first to have Trebs.

If you build a Castle, make Kipchak, either as your main unit or as a support to e.g. snipe Pikemen
